Tools

A Norris A5 Smoother. Considered by some to be the
best.
OK, I admit it... I collect tools -
mostly antique planes. I'll put a little info on here on what I have...
Planes - these are what craftsmen used
to shape wood before electric routers were invented.
"Hollows and Rounds"
- this is a set of 18 planes that cut different width concave and convex
curves.
Belcher
Brother's "Nosing" plane. This plane was used to round the front of the
tread on a stair. Its unusual because the "Belcher Brothers" are not listed
as a plane maker in either of the reference books I have.
A "Coopers"
(barrel makers) plane. Unusual because of its curved shape.
A Clifton #5 "Jack" plane.
A
"Jointer"
plane by Knight Toolworks.
