Inventure Quest
Inventure Quest
Inventure Quest is a create-your-own role-playing game for 2-6 players where you make your own quest, characters, and challenges as you go along. A cooperative game with infinite replayability, Inventure Quest tests your wits and imagination… Your survival comes down to how well you know your characters and fellow players.
The game utilizes a card and voting system similar to Dixit or Codenames to determine whether player actions are successful or not. In Inventure Quest, each turn the active player faces a challenge created by the previous player. They're dealt 5 options to choose from, for how their player would solve the problem. Each option is represented by an action and an object, for example 'Run + House'. The active player reflects on their character sheet and then secretly decides which of the 5 actions their character would do. Then, the other players vote. If they vote the same way as the active player, the quest advances.
Much of the challenge and enjoyment of the game lies in crafting stories and creating the world in which the quest takes place; the more detailed your storytelling, the more likely players are to decide similarly about which action is best. This means that storytelling isn't just for flair-- it's essential to the game!
Players create their own characters, challenges, quests, and worlds. Your games can be scifi, fantasy, realistic, anything. With endless possibilities, you could play a trillion times and never have a similar adventure!
