ZeroDay.exe

ZeroDay.exe
"The .RAT (Regime of Authoritarian Tetrarchs - the New World's government), has created the ultimate weapon - A Killswitch in case the world's A.i. gets out of hand, aptly named ZeroDay.exe. Unfortunately, the .RAT also doesn't think too far in advance. Their precious A.i. learned of this weapon and were...angry, to say the least. The A.i. decided to take control of the program and have started targeting our bio-cybernetics (cybers). At first, they only targeted the .RAT and those close to it here in Shijima - the capital city - so us commoners didn't care much about it - hell, some were even happy about it. But recently there have been attacks against anyone the A.i. deems a threat…which is basically every human with cybers.
We didn’t want (or try) to get caught up in this fight, but here we are. Now, we’re on the A.i.’s shortlist, so the only thing left to do is infiltrate their databanks and destroy them before they get to us. And I guess if we save some lives, that’s a plus." - Syn
