Ticker Tape
Ticker Tape
Thirty-two companies are represented. Each is assigned to one or more of nineteen industries. Changes in prices of the stocks of each company are noted on the gameboard using a china marker.
Each player begins with $15,000 and a sheet of blank stock certificates on which to record purchases and sales. The pawn, there is only one for all players to move, is placed on 'start'. The space on which the pawn rests tells the player to obey a chance card, or more likely, which industries stock prices will rise and fall on the next turn.
A player's turn begins with the roll of the dice to determine how much each affected stock has changed. (There is a chance table for each stock.) The pawn is advanced the number rolled and the player who rolled the dice may purchase as much stock of one company and sell as much of another company desired.
The players play until the end of the time limit agreed upon. The players cash in their stocks and the one with the most money wins.
