Shugo is a card game of battles and reactions, the main objective is to conquer a straight line of 5 quadrants (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) using warrior cards from the deck of your chosen faction.

“Those who dominate the main battlefield, dominate the battle”

The first player to fulfill a straight line with 5 Warrior cards wins. If the whole Battleground is filled without a winner, then the battle ends in a draw.
