We cringe at another tale of horror, and talk about our Essen plans, math trades, how to get a game published, and using timers during games. We end the show with our top ten Milton Bradley games!

TDT # 370 - Back to Normal!

In this episode, we return to our normal schedule. We look at several games, including City Hall, Dead of Winter, Pandemic: Contageon, Cosmic Dominion, Villainous Vikings, Worker Placement, Plucky Pilots, and Golem Arcana. Brian discusses Medici, Greg visits another store, Geoff talks about those who hate to think, we get more legal advice, hear another tale of horror, and discuss some hot news. Finally, we end the show asking what game released at GenCon are we most interested in, and why.

TDT # 369 - Post Gen Con 2014 Report

In this show, Eric and Tom take a look back at the GenCon 2014 fair held in Indianapolis. But we also spend a lot of time talking about games - including Black Fleet, Camel Up, Diamonds, Quilt Show, Castls of the Mad King Ludwig, King of New York, Kingsport: Festival, and Tragedy Looper. We end the show taking a pile of listener questions and giving hopefully decent answers to them!

In this show, recorded live at Dice Tower Conventioni 2014, Tom and Eric are joined by a host of contributors to announce and present the best games of 2013 - the Dice Tower Award winners. We also talk a bit about the convention, and are joined by Sam and Zee to answer questions from the audience.

Tom talks about the Dice Tower Origins 2014 plans, and also talks about his time at the Cool Mini or Not convention. Greg talks about the worst stores ever, we answer questions, contributors chime in, and we end the show with the biggest surprises we've ever encoutered in a game.

Steven Banas joins us, as we talk about Hot Tin Roof, Eldritch Horror, City of Iron, Hegemonic, Airlines Europe, and Kayanak. A funny Tale of Horror is brought out, and we answer questions - such as how to deal with an angry gamer. Finally, we end the show with our top ten "Next Step" games - games to teach people after they've started the hobby.

In this show, Mark takes the ten by ten challenge, Geoff examines a gaming lawsuit, Brian takes a look at Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Bill talks about running a convention. We review Hearthstone, Formula E, Marrying Mr. Darcy, Horse Show,  Race Formula 90, and Dungeon Dice; and then take a look at the Spiel des Jahres nominees. A Tale of Horror, questions, and our answers to "Do you keep track of your games played and wins/losses?" round up the show.

In this show, we talk about Dungeon Petz, Khet, C3K, Mission Red Planet, Ka-boom, and Toss Your Cookies! We also hear about a Tale of Jerkiness, why Eric hates Citadels, and several other questions and answers. Finally, we end the show with our top ten games with hidden objectives.

In this show, we are joined by Brad Talton from Level 99 Games, and proceed to talk about Polar Derby, There’s A Moose In The House, the X-wing Rebel Transport, Ruse, Boss Monster, Android Netrunner: Honor and Profit, and Splendor. We start a new game show, listen to a tale of Horror, learn how to win at rock-paper-scissors, hear about the Gathering of Friends, and answer a pile of questions! Whew! Finally, we end the show with ridiculous rules found in rulebooks.

In this show, Tom talks about the gaming in LA, we discuss our Origins Game Fair plans, and we talk about The Agents,Cube Quest, Great Heartland Hauling Company, and Loot. Once again we answer questions, we look at a slash fiction game, and we talk about our top ten asymetrical board games.
